Listening to an album everyday from 1995 - 2025: Album 24 (2018)
🚨 300TH RATING AND REVIEW!! 🚨
A concise, punchy and impactful album. Does it what it came to do, comes in and doesn’t overstay it’s welcome. With Kanye West’s production and creative input topping it all off. Very good
Absolutely incredible. A cinematic masterpiece. I thought I was gonna pass out after hearing the second song, as it was so beautiful and spectacular. It’s a great album, and a must listen for anyone wanting to branch out or for people who are big fans of this kind of music. So glad I listened to it. I cannot state enough how good it is. BUT. The one thing that very much brings it down is Iggy Pop on The Whole Woman. HE RUINED THE SONG. Maybe it terrible. I’m not exaggerating. I can ... read more

The singing is beautiful production is beautiful energy beautiful everything beautiful. The rawness and emotion thrives as she tells her story through twisted love and mental health. IT’S BRILLIANT!!! 🤩 The one thing that brings it down is Go Gina for me. Didn’t really like that one on first listen
What 50-year old hip-to-the-hop-to-the-hippity-hop rap fans are scared of (a.k.a. my dad)
To me this “Abracadabra Morta oo gaga” is not very good. Mid at best (in my opinion plz don’t take anything too seriously or personally I do very much respect her doing something much different even if I don’t personally like it that much, I respect and admire her being in her own lane and totally different from most other music artists right now)

Even though I don’t find it perfect, it still is a spectacular album from David Bowie. The emotional touch as he sadly passed away two days after makes the album even more emotionally packed and memorable. This album was clearly made with exact precision, with 7 songs and several 4+ minute songs. Very good 👏
Definitely a very good project from Awich, with fantastic production from RZA as always. She shares her culture and her life in Okinawa really well. The features balance her out and add another nice element to this intriguing album. Some of the songs don’t shine as much as others, but overall, still a very good and consistent album 👏

Whilst there is a lot of highlights and great moments, a lot of it gets overshadowed by how messy and unpolished it is. Which in a lot of ways makes it so legendary. Some of his slowed down vocals that he does on here really slows down the pace and holds it back from being that extra-extraordinary album. Good 👍
I’m not a big electronic fan or anything but I still think this EP from Skrillex is a good, fun, whimsical experience full of craziness and surprises 👍
First of all, rest in heavenly peace to D’Angelo and fuck cancer.

Black Messiah was the long awaited return to glory for D’Angelo after a 14 year hiatus. For me, it thrives in production and vocal layering but lets down in the areas of punchiness, where sometimes a song feels dragged out with no real - I don’t know how to say it - drowned out, fatigued and overwhelmed. Still solid overall

Whilst there are some very strong highlights, a lot of the songs fall from beneath them and don’t live up to what they wanted it to be. A mediocre album, but some very good songs on it as well

Listening to an album everyday from 1995 - 2025: Album 19 (2013)
These past albums in the challenge have been INSANE. From MBTAF to 21 to GKMC to now this is wild. There are so many bangers on here, and every song serves a purpose and doesn’t feel void of being (even the songs that I don’t like as much) it all feels concise, with thought, dedication and passion. They cooked on this one
