An insanely manic and chilling experience, showing Jane Remover’s growth from this to now, and the fact that everything is produced, written and composed by them is very impressive. They’ve come a long way from this, and even though I don’t think their debut is as good as their most recent album, it’s still incredible and a feat in itself.
Very much not rocking with this one, I thought I was going to enjoy from what I’ve heard from before but most of it just didn’t click with me. Oh well
Whimsical artsy pop-rock gem that will definitely grow on me in the future, but for now it’s a solid cool album
The big problem that I have PlaqueBoyMax’s music is that all of it feels disingenuous and forced. Like when he made the decision to make music he decided “oh let me bring nothing new to the table and just copy what 1000 other artists are always doing and just make some generic trap shit”
The standout songs are really standout, but all the others are mediocre at best. Way too much filler. Like a 1h and 1 minute Ken Carson album? No thanks. Whilst I do think that he has the ability to make banger songs, shown on here by songs like Xposed, Trap Jump, LiveLeak and Ghoul. But by the time the albums comes to a close, it feels dragged out and bloated, devoid of real direction or value
Jane Remover shows their insane versatility and production skill, with every song being unique with great melodies and amazing craziness
All of the songs are really really good but the one thing that brings it down is the sheer repetition. Like in this whole 40 minutes it’s just the same topic and feel the whole way through, no change and new dynamic or progression at all. It honestly would have been so much higher if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s all the same thing going round and round again. Very promising
Wow Yeat actually ruined the song how do you even bottle it this much like is bro really talking about “A end could be a end” 😭✌️🥀

🌟 THE FINALE! 🌟
Conan Gray really surprised me with this tremendously beautiful album. All of the vocal skills and tricks he does on these songs and amazing and just add to the whole shine of it. The love story is intriguing and mystical feeling, and wow songs like Vodka Cranberry just have me speechless. Very good 👍😁
Great album with great atmosphere and soundscape. I love the nice, chill and charming vibe it brings, feeling very summery and cheerful, whilst having that deep undertone to it as well. Nice 👌

I love their sound and style of rock, even if sometimes I feel they are going round and round again

Ehh… comme ci, comme ça. Gets better in the second half
This has been a long time coming..
Ethel Cain manages to pack so much pain and suffering into a song. All of these songs fill with so many emotions and levels of introspection and thought. Not many other people can make 7 minute instrumentals so compelling, with this album having so many details and minutes. Like you better be ready when a 9 minute outro hits you, I know I wasn’t. But the album does fly by for me even though it is technically slow, and I can’t wait to listen to ... read more

Damn it was so promising after the first 5 songs why did have to fall off kinda like that 😩 But even though it wasn’t as good as I expected, it’s still very good 😊👍
There definitely are a lot of things that I don’t like about this album. A lot of the singing and vocals feel like a bear moaning cause they have constipation, especially on the outro track. I do like some songs like Cobra and Getting Killed but most of it isn’t for me, but I can see why people love it
