Based on this single, it seems like this could be Latto’s best album yet. I love seeing her get introspective, and her brash attitude really shines when she hits the beat switch near the end. I love how it starts out calm in the beginning and then switches to a hard-hitting trap beat, where she really shows off her rapping skills and tells off the haters. For me, this album ranks just behind Call Me If You Get Lost when it comes to Tyler’s best work. Especially after I got this on CD, I appreciated the album even more. Truly, this feels like Tyler’s magnum opus.

It was either this or Operation: Doomsday that was the first rap I ever heard, and I’m really happy this ended up being the one. It’s a perfect mix of early 2010s trap vibes with conscious lyrics woven in. The features on this album don’t disappoint, and neither does the storyline.
