Excellent production
Favorite songs are Locals, Cops and Robbers, Old Money Bitch, Seventyseven Dog Years
Least favorite song You Don't Even Know Who I Am (even though I enjoy the concept, I don't like the song)
Just gorgeous, all of the flows come out so smooth. There’s so many funny little bits in there and it doesn’t really take itself seriously despite being a lovely album. Mac Miller may be the goat
Powerful, catchy, and a little eire at times. Makes great use of so many emo and noise elements. Though the mixing could be better, the instrumentals are very creative. The use of unique noises and circus-like melodies capture such a good vibe for the whole listen.
Favorite tracks: Fukouna Girl, BAMBI, But Not For Me, Paper Dolls
Ivycomb’s production and singing has greatly improved in such a short time between this release and Raised By Aliens. It feels like they’ve started to get acquainted with a style that works for them after a sort of awkward stage between RBA and Rebirth. I cannot stop listening to this peak, it uses so much of what Ivy does well to their best ability. Definitely the best vocal performance we’ve seen from Ivycomb, and overall the most fun album I’ve ever heard. ... read more
This style is so unique, I love these vocals. Some of the humor falls flat, really all of it. Sexually Damaged is definitely the highlight of the album, it’s a very good take on a sort of indie pop that I did not expect on an album like this.
You don’t hate me do you? 🥺
