it's time for a real review for this.
oh my god bruh, what the hell, im giving a 7.8 for everything on the first listen and then on second listen it becomes a fucking masterpiece.
iglooghost's debut album is an absolutely insane masterpiece of uk bass/wonky, everything about this album is amazing, design, overall experience and especially the production. this should be at least 85+, i think people on aoty hate this type of music, unfortunately.

the most creative and detailed in terms of production so far, absolutely perfection of a song.
the hardest thing is kinda meh but understandable bc the happy dictator is a masterpiece, orange country is top 2 best from singles so far
i love how this thing gradually gets darker, more atmospheric, and longer as you listen to it. there's no particular epicness or weird structures here, but damn, the production and atmosphere are just insane, they've done it again, no doubt about it.

the production, at least, is actually pretty good.
it's just a blatant copy of 2hollis, but in spanish and more aggressive, so i don't understand the point of ts to exist. idk about the lyrics, but god, this guy rapping is so annoying bro syfm
overall, there are some good songs here, like 'insane', 'no me importa' and 'option' but the rest are just laughably terrible.

why does every song on this album take so long to build up, and then... nothing happens?? why?
mechatok is an incredibly talented producer, but his solo album turned out to be not quite what i expected. the production of SOME songs seems very rushed, but the album still stands out for mechatok's creative approach to production choices, songwriting is uninteresting, and overall the album is just boring and features-carried.
one day mechatok will create his own masterpiece solo, but this ... read more
sometimes i feel like users of this site don't understand the beauty of deconstructed club/bass music (with the exception of SOPHIE and arca), which is the reason i'm listening to this amazing album so late. why the hell is it so underrated? also this is for the first time ever i 100% agreed with pitchfork rating on album.
the album itself is amazing, very dark, noisy, and chaotic club electronic music that truly reflects aya's darkest thoughts, stunning production and sound ... read more
я не знаю что про это можно написать, ничего интересного абсолютно, это НЕРЕАЛЬНО скучно слушать.

WHAT ARE THESE BEATS BRO
today im eating this for breakfast, damn, it was incredible listen, the first half (1-5) are really the 5 best track runs oat, absolutely amazing, the production here is just INSANE. literally the BEST i've heard in this indietronica/rage genre.

brain-tickling madness.
this is proof that post-rap exists, this is not even experimental hip-hop or glitch hop anymore, but something much bigger and more avant-garde (maybe i just don't know much, so correct me if im wrong). absolutely crazy album and pretty enjoyable.

very okay / miss
some songs are actually pretty good but overall production is somehow really mid.

this is Deathconsciousness, but in a cheerful and soothing form.
i was thrilled when i first heard title track — for me, it was perhaps the most ethereal and incredible experience. atmospheric, detailed, and nostalgic production makes you feel like you're sliding through the clouds towards the sun. everything about this album is literally perfect. it is exactly what i needed to get rid of my winter blues.
