i'm a total poser because i've owned a misfits band logo shirt for ages and only just got around to listening to any of their music. ANYWAYS. most of the songs just blend together into a smoothie of classic-punk mush, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just a boring thing. last caress is easily the highlight of the album, even if i wish it was longer. despite not liking this album as much as i wish i did, i think i'll keep the t-shirt.
significantly better than dreamland in every way. it's sad that glass animals is known for heatwaves instead of this album, which is genuinely one of the indie pop all-timers

really interesting blend of genres with an incredibly cool aesthetic, i mentioned melanie martinez but this really feels like a superior musician's attempt at her whole "thing" and it ends up coming off way better despite having a similar subject matter.
