Sonically cohesive album, with meaningful lyrics and varied song structures? It's disappointing (but also not surprising) that Lynn Gunn and PVRIS haven't really matched this beauty of an album since. Calling them here as a BTEC Paramore is a disservice because the band leaned more into goth and dark wave elements (akin to the Birthday Massacre) than Paramore ever did.
