After a lengthy wait, IT'S BEEN AWFUL, is finally here and it replenishes the thirst fans have been feeling since the enjoyable 'THIB' came and prospered. But to be honest my biggest complaint would be the somewhat high amount of overly laid-back and at times monotonous performances.

I think the first part is quite slow to get going, and once it does it still doesn't blow me away but past that it gets incredibly consistent. I also really like how Nike commissioned this for James Murphy + that cover art looks really cool..
It's amazing how much emotion an album can evoke with just beautiful instrumentals. Each and every track makes me feel some sort of emotion, whether that's nostalgia, sadness, fear or serenity, it has something for everyone.
An amazing LP from Boards of Canada makes me intrigued to check out their other captivating projects.
I think without the Wayne, Future and Macy Gray features that were likely a way to push her way up the charts were a big mistake. Also Dangerous Woman misses the modern edge her successive albums, "Sweetener" and "thank u, next" capture.
