Kanye at his creative peak IMO, the first 3 songs embody this album so perfectly, a gospel song, arguably Metro's best produced song, then a panda remix, this whole album is so chaotic and I love it.

I think there is a really good foundation here for something greater but it is just too undercooked. Nowhere near as bad as I remember, haven't returned to this in a few years and there are definitely bangers. Absolutely insane that 2 of my favorite artists ever made something as bad as CHopstix though. Genuinely unlistenable. Also the cover is hard as fuck.

Wow, I am very concerned how fast my brain went from "Wow this guys accent is really annoying and gets in the way of my enjoyment of the music" to "Holy fuck this is really good". Definitely a solid project but has a lot of weak links to me, his flows on a lot of the more energetic cuts sounds all over the place and awkward, comes across as pretty rusty to me at least. The slower more emotional cuts work really really well and rival high points on The Melodic Blue.

Not the worst thing ever but not a 90. Mixing feels very flat on a lot of songs (most notably to me NEW MAGIC WAND) and the stupid fucking voice filter on like every song pisses me off. Why??? It makes Tyler sounds so nasal-y and annoying. Saving grace is writing is usually good and songs are catchy. GONE, GONE is also the most overrated Tyler song ever. I swear to god I am not just trying to be different or whatever. I do not get it.

Genuinely would be a 100 if Wet Dreamz was not on the album, I cannot fathom how this song is so popular, cringe lyrics, unremarkable production, and Cole literally said the story wasn't even true lmfao. Great return to form for Q. Many songs still in the rotation, especially in the first half. Saw Q during this tour in San Diego and he put on an amazing show, but good god hes got some annoying fans.

I swear on my life I am not trying to be contrarian but all of me, letter to my brudda, dangerous, see the real, and just like me are some of 21's most underrated tracks. This tracklist is full of gems but a lot of BS. I definitely think if it was more focused it could have been a more fondly remembered 21 classic but it was pretty forgettable for most people, but I think it's worth revisiting as it has great tracks with great replay value.

I genuinely cannot comprehend the hate Cole gets online for being boring or dropping the same album every time. Listen to this then The Off-Season and tell me that shit makes any sense. This feels like a great sendoff to Cole's career. Was a bit worried for this album after hearing Might Delete Later but this is night and day. Also the ending verse on Bombs in the Ville/Hit the Gas is so beautiful, maybe my favorite thing he has written.

Really underappreciated album. Lyrically incredible, features are a little spotty IMO, not the hugest fan of the Chris Brown or JID features. Production is beautiful and soincally incredible. Survivors Guilt is one of my favorite songs ever made, but I feel like it overshadows Written in the Stars, which is on the same level of greatness in my opinion (even if I prefer Survivors Guilt).

Really fun album but has a lot of flaws. The production is incredible but a lot of songs end up sounding kind of same-y and the performances are kinda all over the place quality wise. flash is like easily a top 5 song of the year for me though, and beginning acts as such a perfect intro and transition into the song, I love it so much. The energy is so sick, I wish the rest of the album carried that quality.
