Maybe I just can't appreciate this type of music, but I don't understrand the good ratings on this album. For me, it's lacking the originality that could make this album a good one. I don't know, I'm just not having a fun time listening to this...
The only thing I really dislike about this album is the length of the song's names. It's not a game changing pop punk album and a lot of the songs sound the same, but it's still an enjoyable project.
Now I get why Kanye only released this on his stem: so that he could save people from listening to this hot garbage. This so-called ''album'' just sounds raw and unfinished. I hate everything released under X's name since his death, and him being on this album just adds another stain to his legacy. Not worth 200$ (glad I didn't actually buy it lol).
This album's rating is saved by 2 or 3 songs honestly. Some of the tracks on here are genuinly not pleasant to listen to, but man these Tyler and Rocky features are good.
A very serious contender for Hip Hop album of the year, honestly. It's crazy how Denzel's just so consistent in his releases. Every time, it's a classic.
For me, the only reason keeping this album from a higher score is the length. 15 minutes shorter could've been enough. Still, there are some great songs on here.
God DAMN I love this album. It took me a while to get into Donald Glover's music, but it was worth the wait. The most known song isn't necessarily my favorite on the albums that I listen, but 3005's energy is contageous.
*Entire album* It just feels like a few bangers with a bunch of fillers. Some of Uzi's best songs along with some really bad songs. I don't know how I feel about this album, honestly.
Found this randomly on Spotify. Gotta say, that's gotta be one of my best finds ever. I really enjoy their sound, and even though it's far from the best album in this genre, it's an album I think anybody could enjoy.
I really don't know how I ended up listening to this, but it sounds really freaking nice. I know nothing about jazz, but what I can say is that this album can help study. Big time.
While I do recognize the impact that this album has has on the genre, and that it is a very enjoyable album, this is not an album that I'll come back to very often. I was expecting a bit better to be honest, after hearing so many people praising it like it was the GOAT album... To be fair, I should've listened to this in 2003 to truly understand the hype.
Not hyperpop, but definitely one of the best pop albums that were released so far this year. I mean, this album gives a ''I want to stand up and dance'' vibes, from Crash to Twice. Very enjoyable.
I'll say it again and again, Rise Against has to be one of the most average punk rock band in history, and this album isn't any different. Once again, one song stands out, and might be the best song on the LP: the ballad that is Roadside. As always, their acoustic songs are my personal favorites.
The second half of the album is not nearly as good as the first. Forgiveness I + II has to be one of the most complex songs Billy Talent has ever written (and, to me, one of their best ever as well).
Overhated album. While it can feel like a step back, it definitely deserves better than the scores it currently has. Rusted from the Rain still is one of their best songs.
While I do think this album is decent, it's got that generic Rise Against sound that I think is so unremarkable. It also features their usual soft, acoustic guitar balad ''Forfeit'', which is, as for a lot of their other albums too, the best song on the record.
For some reason, Ras Baraka fits perfectly in the album. Apart from that, Lauryn Hill proves how much of a genius she really is. The production just feels so nice and the songwriting is fabulous. I've got a hard time explaining how special this album is lol.
Après ce qu'il a sorti comme musique dans les dernières années, je peux difficilement voir comment on peut considérer ça comme une amélioration dans son cas...
