Rammstein - Zeit
69

I mean, I did like some of Rammstein's previous work, but I genuinely did not enjoy this as much. I can't explain why, it just didn't click for me. Might be to repetitive for my liking.

Kehlani - blue water road
81

This has to be one of my biggest surprises of 2022 so far. It's a very beautiful and well produced album. Never listened to a project by Kehlani before, but this is definitely one of my favorite R&B LP of the year.

Future - I NEVER LIKED YOU
72

The first half of this album definitely carries the second. Definitely some good songs on here, but the interest dies after WAIT FOR U (for me, at least).

Zendaya - Zendaya
56

I honestly don't know what I expected, but this isn't good. Actually, take that back. It's fucking boring, that's what it is.

Noname - Room 25
84

A quite short, but very much complete LP. This album just sounds good from start to finish. Such an underrated project.

Harry Styles - Harry Styles
83

I wasn't sure about this album first time around, but after re-listening to it, I realised how deep this LP gets. It's much better than what I remembered.

Playboi Carti - Die Lit
74

I'm sorry Carti stans, but this is not that great. It's decent, and not a bit more. However, props to Kimg Vamp for creating a few very catchy songs.

Chief Keef - 4NEM
72

It's fun to hear a new project from Chief Keef, but damn this was underwhelming for me. Some good songs, but a lot of skippers.

MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
89

That album is freaking great. There are some timeless classics on here. I love it

Hatchie - Giving The World Away
75

It's not bad, but there's just nothing that stands out for me here. Very generic dream pop.

Pusha T - It's Almost Dry
85

I don't think it's the best rap album of the year so far (as Pusha claims), but it's definitely up there in the rankings for me. Dreamin Of The Past is one of the best rap songs of the year, too.

Daft Punk - Discovery
82

While I don't like this album as much as RAM, and that it doesn't fit into the category of music that I usually like very much, I still managed to listen to this a few times without getting bored. That says a lot.

Tame Impala - InnerSpeaker
83

I mean it's hard to compare this to his next two, but for a debut album, this is definitely solid. Not as catchy as some of his later works, but still very enjoyable.

Swedish House Mafia - Paradise Again
72

This album is too long and too repetitive, sure. But there are some really snappy songs on here. Anybody saying Moth To A Flame isn't a banger is delusional. I expected worse, honestly.

Justice - †
74

This is definitely not my type of music, but there are some songs that I feel like I could like if I listened to them a bit more.

Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels
79

A little bit too hardcore for me, but there are definitely some highs on this album. Hard to believe that this is their first real album, the production is great.

070 Shake - Modus Vivendi
81

Now this is not a bad album, but it just feels like I'm hearing Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi on an a very unusual Rae Sremmurd beat. Still, it's an interesting project.

Blood Orange - Negro Swan
85

Just so sweet, so mellow. Listening to this feels like taking a warm bath (I suppose, I don't actually take baths). Great piece of work.

Kali Uchis - Isolation
80

I mean, it's a good album. I had heard Kali very often as a feature in the past, and I was actually happy to hear that she can carry a song by herself. In this case, she's even able to carry 2/3 of the album without any features.

Lute - Gold Mouf
80

Lute definitely doesn't reinvent the genre, but it's definitely worth a listen.
