I mean I love Brockhampton, but this just proves how talented Kevin Abstract really is. A short but very good LP.
It's a decent album, but I don't know how much I want to listen to the whole thing again. There's a few good songs and the remaining tracks are just decent. However, it is an easy listen, an ''any type of situation'' listen.
I mean, I was about to praise Kodak for having an almost feature-less album, but then I realised it wasn't good and actually needed features. That was all.
I can't pinpoint a high point nor a low point on that album; it's just consistently good. It's also important to remeber when you listen that this album was made in 1991. It was ahead of its time.
This sux. We definitely didn't need this, and she used the same receipe that made people hate MGK. Good job Avril, ruining your legacy.
It's nothing amazing, nothing too original, but for what it's worth, the songs on Vol. 2 are actually better imo than the ones on the original LP. (This rating is for the 15 tracks, not only the 5 new songs)
I think the biggest mistake I've made listening to Chance is starting with Coloring Book and Acid Rap. It's still a good mixtape, just not on the same level.
Definitely not Kendrick's best work, but that's easy to say 11 years and 3 masterpieces later. Still a very solid album.
This is no doubt revolutionary album, and seems like a more important album in music history than say ''Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols''. The only thing I could say about this album is that I can sometimes feel a strong rockabilly influcence, and I'm not a huge fan of that. But that's a personnal preference. And it's not throughout the album, so it doesn't affect it too much.
This is pretty much the definition of a perfect album. It's gotta be one of the only albums in the world that makes me cry because of its beauty.
Edit: yeah this is perfect
I don't understand how Tame Impala can go from releasing one of the best Psychedelic Pop album of the decade to this. This is boring, bland and lacks the originality that made Currents the album that it is. This is too long and too repetitive.
This album is nothing flashy, but it's pretty much a no-skip for me. 10 beautiful tracks with great production and a good performance by Saba.
He's just so... average. The whole album is just... average. That's the only way I can describe this album. Meh.
The album does drag on a little too long, but it's still a very sweet album to listen to.
At first, I wasn't sure if I understood where the hype around Tupac was coming from. After a few listens, I now understand a little bit more what it's all about. And it's looking good.
Ain't No Mountain High Enough and then the rest. The harmonies made by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell are nice, but not super memorable.
Apart from Didn't I, there's nothing much to talk about on this album. I mean, he does sometimes sound a lot like James Brown. That's pretty much all.
This is a beautiful album, really. Some of the songs on here are soooo underrated.
