Black on both sides is a must listen for every rap fan, this production and lyricism is amazing.
This is a creative masterpiece. And I can say it’s one of my favourite rap albums
Carti has never in his career, and probably will never make a better album than this. This is prime Playboi.
The execution was quite underwhelming, and I didn’t understand what was happening here at first, and I still don’t.
5 years of waiting came into this, and the overhype is insane. Carti is still a solid artist who has the capability of making really good music, but this just wasn’t it. The production really needed help, and I felt like I was listening to a full length ad lib central. The features really helped the score too.
Undeniable influence, but that doesn’t mean it’s a great album. This is like a “let the members speak” sort of thing.
The amount of people who dislike country music, just to come and review it and give it a bad score is pathetic. These hot takes are not bearable. This is a solid album, and I liked quite a few songs on it. Just too long
I desperately need to speak to the person who though this was a good idea, Doechii did not fit on this song, and although her verse was decent, it didn’t match, whatsoever, I strongly dislike listening to this more a more. Completely ruined the song I’m short.
Why do people judge this as an actual pivotal album? 😂
I can clearly see the message Tom is trying to send through all his music. Unlike other horrible artist, he has a meaning which he raps for. But that is the only thing I can comment him for.
I just cannot wrap my head around why he wanted this much of an unfinished project.
