How do you diss other rappers for making the "same song over and over again" and then drop this shit? It's by no means bad, but when I listen to a jpegmafia project called experimental rap, i want something experimental and for peggy this just isn't new. It feels like he's out of ideas and this long ass tracklist isn't helping that sentiment but I still enjoyed most of the tracks so the album itself isn't bad imo
this shit is wild. im not too big on the first track but everything else is just a beautiful mess. this is probably the best noise music project i've ever heard too and is just such a unique vibe that makes me feel a wide array of emotions, and the closer, alvin row, is probably their second best song behind fireworks imo. chocolate girl, la rapet, and bat you'll fly are also some of their best stuff i've heard, and overall it's an absolutely insane experience that i cant ... read more
thanks to lockedinlocke for the recommendation. very good slushwave album. fun to read/relax to like most slushwave stuff. not too much to say about it though. didn't blow my mind by any means but it was certainly a very enjoyable experience. good shit!
Forgot to rate but yeah it's amazing. One of the most unique records I've ever heard
buncha groovy, instrumental sample heavy jams from one of my fav youtubers. sort of sounds like a happier version of untrue by burial, which is a complement. i can't hate on this
THIS IS THE SHIT!! the first mindblowing album for me in anco's discog so far. there's something for everybody here. catchy, childlike jams like peacebone, linear, experimental-ish tracks like fireworks and for reverend green, and complete mindfucks like cuckoo cuckoo. just a fucking experience man.
really enjoyed the vibes of this. the 1st, 5th, and 7th track are all perfect and the rest is cool
trippy project. not really what i was in the mood for when i put it on so i'll relisten and then the score will prob go up
edit: 79 -> 90. this grew on me a lot upon second listen. it doesn't drag on at all.
nostalgia for this. the track broken angel hospital is the best sematary & ghost mountain collab song and probably raises the score for this by a whole 7 or so points since i just absolutely love that song. There are some other bangers like new rocks nevada and dead by dawn and overall it's a very enjoyable experience for me
last track fucking sucks but besides that i really enjoyed the vibe of this. kinda a newer sound to me but i really enjoyed this overall. thank you everymanhybrid for putting me onto this
some of the rawest emo music i've heard. born again so many times is their best song by far. everything else is also really good but it lowkey pales in comparison to born again except for i see it too which is also a life changing track
the rot is the reason to live. one of my favorite songs and the best dean blunt song. the rest is great with some imperfections along the way
