Even though I loved "ICED TEA" as the lead single, the rest of the album just didn't really do it for me.
Pretty much every song on this album sounds the same, the beat selection is very very simple and Gunna's once again trying his best to not try anything new. Not a bad album, just extremely monotone and unintresting.
I was really looking forward to listen to this album. I've always loved "Don't Stop Me Now" so much that I just wanted to see what else this album has to offer and boy, I loved it. "Bicycle Race" is such a simple theme but works so well, probably because of that. "Leaving Home Ain't Easy" is just a beautiful song from Brian. Not really fan of Roger's songs tho. On any of the Queen albums I've heard so far, most of the times the songs where ... read more
I'm not that big of a fan on the intro track here, but "We Are The Champions" is literally the anthem of the world. You can't not like that. "All Dead, All Dead" and "My Melancholy Blues" are 2 songs I didn't know before listening to this album and now I completely love them. Have to say that Queen just can do an album experience so damn well. Plus I really love the cover of this one.
If I had to pick from A Night At The Opera or this one, I would pick this one. I don't know why but the songs just feel better and more genuine to me. "Somebody To Love" is the obvious banger but "Teo Toriatte" and "Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy" are some incredible songs aswell. "You Take My Breath Away" has to be my favorite on this one tho. Once again an incredible adventure and an experience just like most Queen albums.
Let me start of by saying that in my opinion "Bohemian Rhapsody" is the best song ever created, like, I absolutely love that song. I also love "Love of My Life" just like everybody else. And the rest of the album is pretty solid too. "Seaside Rendezvous" is a really fun and sweet song aswell as "'39". Overall it's a great experience but probably not one of my all time favorites from Queen.
This one was a big surprise for me, I wasn't expecting to enjoy this record as much as I did. Obviously I knew "Killer Queen" going into this but I didn't know anything else and I left the album with a handful of new great songs. "Dear Friends", "She Makes Me", "In The Lap Of The Gods" I mean oh my god these are amazing. Really fun album this one.
Yeah I'm not that big of a fan of this one. Don't get me wrong it's an amazing record but what I think makes this record so iconic is just the cover art. I mean I absolutely love "The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke" but the rest is just really good but not that good in my opinion. I definitely think Queen has much better albums in their catalog than this one.
I can't lie, I'm really enjoying this album. Went in with an open mind and it definitely paid off. "Keep Yourself Alive" and "Doing All Right" are two songs that I immediately fell in love with and they've not left my rotation since. I also really enjoy "Great King Rat" and "My Fairy King" and overall I'm loving this album.
Huge fan of Don's vocals pretty much anywhere he appears and this album is like a mix of everything I love from him.
An album of the year contender. Absolutely crazy. Love the production, love what Pharrell has done on this album. Love both Pusha T and Malice their work on this in absolutely insane, Pusha's Godfather energy is pulsing once again. The features did the best job they possibly could've.
I love this album. The production is so well-made and The Weeknd's vocals just float right on them in the most perfect way possible. Honestly one of my favorite albums of 2022.
The most fun album of the year so far. Love the production. Love the vibe. Love the aesthetic. Really just makes you want to have fun and just go outside and live. Amazing project.
CHROMAKOPIA works so well as an album, but I don't really revisit the songs that often. As a project and as a body of music, it's incredible, but the songs on their own are not working that well for me.
I love this Tyler. Beautiful production all over. Stress-free lyrics (for the most part). DJ Drama yelling from start to finish. What else can you want from a good album?
Tyler's bold decision to cross-over into a completely different genre, turned out incredibly well. Not my favorite Tyler, The Creator album, but completely understand why the majority of fans think so.
One of Mac's earlier mixtapes, as always full of good energy and trying to bring the energy to everybody around him.
The best mixtape I've ever heard. My favorite mixtape of all time. The jazzy production all throughout this pretty long tracklist just never gets stale or boring, and even though it's 24 tracks long, Mac manages to pull it through without stumbling once.
Swimming is the last Mac Miller album before his passing. On this album he actually talked about things getting better and that everything's not that bad, but also had a lot of deep depressing moments.
