so hey i listened to this yesterday and then ended up having the most terrifying sleep paralysis of my whole life so rn i'm traumatised i guess i'm just too soft for this kinda stuff but it still impressed (and scared) me a lot so i'll see if i'm gonna be brave enough to relisten
well it's a song for sure but at least she's not doing basic mainstream pop this time, still hyped for the album
love her vibe but new york and money is everything were quite disappointing, summer forever is the song of the year btw
underwhelming, boring and missing a lot. it's too early for her to poorly reheat melodrama
I actually love the way it sounds and the fact that she's reheating electra, on the other hand the lyrics are so corny and cringe i can not stand it she's too old for that... but I'll try to ignore it
I'll just say that I'm an esv stan forever and this gagged me so hard, I also have a feeling this will be the most impactful album of the year and she's def coming for another grammy
very electra heart coded, way better than butterfly but i still wish she could do soomething more with this
that one was very unique, the whole album sounds like it's a video game and i've never heard something like that, even tho i found some tracks annoying, mainly due to the autotune it's a cute project overall and i have some favourites
finally a good, cohesive and rich sounding nu-metal album, this is just amazing, the only song that i didn't really vibe with was black rainbow but i believe it's a grower
top 3:
tsunami sea
crystal roses
deep end
way better than i expected ngl, there are some fillers but other than that it's a cohesive album with some amazing songs (like nothing but a sad face on, omfg that one is incredible) overall i liked it more than squeeze
top 3:
1. nothing but a sad face on
2. slugger
3. honeycrash
Hands down LISA just released the best blackpink solo project so far and proved how she can pull both pop and rap so well. My only issue with this album is that a lot of tracks are almost perfect but they're missing something important yet i can't tell what it is but songs like elastigirl, moonlit floor or dream sound too empty. Other than that there's no really a bad song so I'd say it's skipless, great album.
when trust and sugar water cyanide dropped as singles i was so disappointed cuz they're my least favourite rebecca songs and she really made me think this whole project is gonna suck ass but i love every song except these two and WOW do you even think about me is like insanely good, it's been a while since I've heard a song like that
btw am i tripping or is she sampling MJ's History in Twist The Knife?
