welcome back Michael Jackson
no but seriously most of the songs here remind me of MJ's songs, for example:
Cards - In The Closet
Lipstan - Liberian Girl
Come Back - Break Of Dawn
Happy - Whatever Happens
Make It Up - Butterflies, and many more
of course the songs are nowhere as good as MJ's but the inspiration is really nice to see here
there's not 1 song i'd skip since all of them are fun to play but if the project was inspired by 80's I wish she explored more of the ... read more
i like the direction she's goin' for since make you mine but even if the production is amazing saying 'yes baby yes' 200 times won't make it great
thank you @kaya! for recommendation and sorry it took me so long!
at first, “second rate” as an intro didn’t really click with me. I’m not fully convinced by it as a whole, even though there were certain moments I really enjoyed.
“the wrong idea!” was absolutely insane. It’s been a long time since I've heard a track with such a strong buildup. Even though it runs for 8 minutes, it felt like only 3. The production was ridiculously addictive, and I ... read more
I LOOOVE the minimalistic and gorgeous production with amazing vocal layers, this is so dreamy and beautiful
it's pretty but doesn't add much to an already perfect sincerely
reminds me a lot of "Color Chaos" but this is one of the better edm rock songs from him
it's that hit pop formula we've seen in blinding lights, physical, sweet but psycho etc. and i kinda see this song being huge and playing everywhere for the next year cuz it definitely has the potential
i have a feeling this would go hard af on the headphones by the beach, i wish she dropped it earlier so i could check if my feeling is right but so far the new era is promising!
not sure what to say about this one, i like the fact they are experimenting with more genres, but not sure if this is the right direction for a metal band? the song isn't bad at all but it's a weird choice for a single
i'm seated for the album cuz this song made me curious about their new sound
the most beautiful and ethereal album i've ever heard, even tho there some really uncomfortable elements it makes a great contrast with godly instrumentals and insane vocals, probably my fav project from her and I love how different it is from the rest of her discography
loved her doing metal but this is even better, soft stuff suits her voice
