Ray of Light by Madonna is honestly a fantastic album. If I had discovered it as a kid, I probably would’ve played it nonstop. My taste in music has shifted over time, so it’s not something I listen to regularly anymore, but that doesn’t take away from how good it is. The vocals, songwriting, and production are all top-notch. My personal favorites are “Swim,” “Little Star,” and “The Power of Goodbye.”

other than the fact that her voice has such an insane amount of autotune that it sounds like a robot, lyrics are obviously bad (probably on purpose) this... so this album is a mix of preachers daughter and perverts and blue banisters by miss lana so this alone is the reason why this is the album of the year, i'm not into the lore yet but maybe that's better for my sanity, anyway tempest destroyed me and I can't wait to rot in bed drinking pumpkin spice latte and bawling my eyes out to this album in october!
love the chorus it's amazing and really catchy and atmospheric but other than that... verses and pre-chorus are annoying asf for me and chorus is the only enjoyable part of the song, even tho it had a lot of potential
