i couldn't review this album better than if i crawled out of every reader's screen and started hysterically crying
perfect for daily listening, nothing too special. lovey, easy on the ears, and poetic.
songs that are vital to my growth as a person! and some songs i can't bear listening to, also.
witty but full of heart. vocals are perfect for the vibes. would mosh to this
rife with dancing, imagery, heart, and mitski's trademark honest loneliness. an amazing album, worth the wait.
perfect sound, perfect album title. full of heart and space and road.
REALLY strong start to the EP and imo it only gets better from then. love and adore it.
beautiful piece of art pop with banal vocals to cut through the whimsical instrumentation
literally excellent, a good sound, bright and fun and earnest. maximalist without being too poppy. very very pink. love!
loved it! this is sooo not midwest emo tho the tags are lying. anyways they have a rlly cool and large sound, good use of silences and pauses, makes the loud parts rlly pop. can't wait to see more from this band!
an excellent album! perfect for daily use, with songs that never get old. haters dont understand me and never will
edit: i listened to this album again and yknow what. 10/10 no notes 💯
very cool! lucy dacus didn't let me down at all, album-wise. taking each song as its individual unit might make sense given the difference in their sounds, but doing that (and comparing the songs with her earlier work) would leave you perceiving a lack. that's because, in my opinion, Home Video is a movie of an experience— you have to listen to the whole to really understand it. also triple dog dare as an album closer was super smart i respect it
really good! a slow start and, with Kill Me as the closer, a magnificent end. a very specific vibe with songs i can't show to anyone but my own heart. my only gripe is its lyricism, which i feel lacks
imo not as strong as earlier albums, and with only a part of the magic of the earliest albums. but divorcing it from the canon of Florence will show it's a solid album with a nice enough sound and some real gems studded within it
