the production is great... for the most part. What the hell are some of these sound effects? what is the point of any of that breakdown on rapture? it sounded horrific. Besides that, a lot of great songs are on here and it's probably their third best album in the discog.

wowee this album is gonna be fire

Can be a bit boring at times, i think there was one too many ballads, but machine gun, HOLY SHIT machine gun. i thought safe and sound would be the song of the album, but it has competition. Wide Open is the best shinedown ballad in as long as i can recall. This band absolutely delivered on my expectations.

its good not great. last song was very unique and bright side might be my SOTY thus far. the rest is underwhelming besides Threshold and the last 2 tracks.
