Summers Gone is the foundation of ODESZA's signature sound and is a solid debut. The sound design and production is where this record truly shines and it expresses a really nice bright and crisp vibe that the chillwave duo are now known for. It has some fantastic highlights, such as How Did I Get Here, which I think is one of their best songs in their entire discography.

I used to be a massive ODESZA fan in my teenage years.

It's heavily nostalgic listening to this. I loved the breezy and crisp vibes they created. ODESZA, no doubt has a distinct sound, I can always recognize their production. Now, that's a good thing and an unfortunate flaw of this record. It's impressive to debut with an identity, but it could be chalked up to too much consistency.
