modern masterpiece of Thrash

This album is 11 snacks of violent, energetic blackened thrash. But while the snacks may be tasty on their own, 11 snacks back to back is not the same as a full meal.

Now some tracks here are absolute bangers. The opener is a great example of what Skeletonwitch's best is, with a wonderful atmospheric build that erupts into blackened excellence, and the tempo changes within help make the 4 minutes feel full and essential. Good blend of thrash and black metal with melodic guitar work and an energetic sound.

Though it can be repetitive at times, some of the songs on here are strong and catchy: "This Horrifying Force (The Desire to Kill)", "The Infernal Resurrection" are fast paced and very fun to listen to!
