Nice drum roll intro to begin Of Unworldly Origin. Solid sharp riffing as well with a fun thrashy bounce. The underlying structure and vibe reminds me a little of Voivod until you get to the groovy passage. Fun track to start.

Coworker of mine is a pretty big metal head and they told me about this band they loved called Revocation. I had no clue what to expect on here and I honestly gotta say, this is so fucking good! The riffs on here were incredible, with some really fucking abrasive sounding riffs like “Of Unworldly Origin” and “Vanitas”. so, Revocation is releasing a new album on 26.09 and I've thought that it would be cool if I reviewed every release of theirs one per day, thus the deep dive would end perfectly with me listening to New Gods, New Masters on its release date.
