Transition might not contain as many potential hits as its predecessor, but it's a convincing return to his underground roots which acts both as a defiant two-fingers up to the critics who labeled him a sell-out, and as a much-needed antidote to the dominant electro-pop sound of his contemporaries.

On his second studio album Chip made a Transition. This great album includes the singles: Flying High, Champion (ft. Chris Brown), In the Air (ft. Keri Hilson) and Take Off (ft. Trey Songz).
The collaborations are surprising, the song Champion with Chris Brown is a massive hit, not only for Chip but also for Chris Brown.
