Short and sweet. all around good record but nothing very special and definitely not reaching Taylor Meier's potential
Caamp’s self titled is one of my favorite pieces of Indie Folk to put on while I’m doing something else. It’s not particularly complex or lyrically dense (aside from some stand-out moments like “All The Debts I Owe”), but it stays consistent in its sound and does it extremely well.

I always feel conflicted about music like this. On one hand, I feel like it gets critiqued a bit too much for being basic white people music, but at the same time, I can see where that critique comes from. It's not as experimental or developed as something by a group like the fleet foxes, but there's still something to it that makes me enjoy it.
