The incongruity could be cloying if it wasn’t so well done, but rewards repeat plays.
We is harmless and occasionally boring, but its complicated emotions and generational voice should appeal to a segment of the Coachella millennial population.
Favourite: i hate u, i love u (feat. olivia o'brien)
Worst: happy never after
1. happy never after - 0
[Genuinely could be top 5 worst songs I've ever heard no joke]
2. imagine if - 1

We aren't even an AJR level of bad music, it is level up. Gnash 40 Minutes creates such an empty and boring album with no substance, quality production, or even decent vocals. It scares me how bad this album is even going to it with an open mind didn't help.
My bias for this album is because of high school. I was listening to this religiously back then and even if the sappy heartbreak anthems of this album are so despised, I will always have a good fond memory of this album and gnash's music in general. That being said, I don’t recommend this album so spare your time and find something else to listen to.
I listened to this one time in 2023 and completely forgot about it the next day.
Top 3: Be, Pajamas, P.S.
Bottom 3: Any combination of the first 6 tracks.
i remember listening to this when it came out and liking it so i listened again. yikes
