I'm finding it difficult to dispute your point because the "shoulders of Giants" IS the best way to critique of you're a critic. It's just that as a passive music observer myself, I find it hurts to like things based on historical context.

Wassily Kandinsky's art. While it did start the abstract style and is influential, to me it's baby's first Mondrian. I'm sure that there's more to unpack in Untrue, but as someone who feels like I've seen the Peak of my exsperence of Lo-Fi, I don't really want to invest the time.
