Skrillex's rise to fame and America's brief fascination with Dubstep/Brostep led to a generation of kids having this weird new style of music imprinted on their brains. 14 years later, those same kids are now shaping the future of the genre after years of genuine love for the music and study of the craft.
It's already begun, but we're about to see more quality bass music projects like this one coming out in spades, and I couldn't be more excited for it

As beautiful as it is simple and effortless.
It's albums like this and m b v that really prove how shoegaze is only getting better as production progresses through the years. These are some of the best-sounding albums I've heard, and while m b v was much more of an experiment through different styles that were hit and miss for me, this might be some of Slowdive's best material.
