This album is a bit of a departure from Sense of Space. I feel like the cover does a great job of describing the music inside. As beautiful as it is simple and effortless.

It's albums like this and m b v that really prove how shoegaze is only getting better as production progresses through the years. These are some of the best-sounding albums I've heard, and while m b v was much more of an experiment through different styles that were hit and miss for me, this might be some of Slowdive's best material.
