I think this is a great lyrical premise for a song that had the potential to be really touching, but on the other hand, I cannot look past the instrumental track on this one. It manages to turn this heartfelt folk song into background music from a Subaru Forester commercial. This would have sounded dated if it came out in 2012, let alone 2025, and this seems to be everyone else's reaction as well.

Top 3 not counting ambient interludes: Coloratura, Higher Power, Humankind
Bottom 3: Biutyful, Let Somebody Go, People of the Pride
It's January 2nd, 2025 and I'm trying to listen to one album every day this year. Why did I have to pick this one? What even motivated me to listen to this at all? Why did nobody stop me?
Furthermore, what genre even is this? Is it supposed to sound like a manic episode? That's exactly what it sounds like to me.
So many questions that will remain unanswered.
