Oooo, C418 babyyyy!!! LET'S GOOO!!
After listening to Excursions, i've decided to listen to his shortest album yet. and it's Dief, and it's pretty fucking solid. It's not bad tbh lol, it was a pretty floating and calm experience and honestly, it was pretty enjoyable. It may be C418's underrated album imo, but oh well...
i swear, his music is gonna inspire me lmao.

The shortest album from c418 and that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s his best. While I think most of these songs excel and being atmospheric and world building, that’s about it. There’s nothing that memorable to most of these tracks if it being honest. Some simple, beautiful sounds to have in the background with no real want or desire for me to ever want to come back to this besides a couple tracks I loved. Most of the album is a solid experience with beautiful background ... read more
C418'S Dief is a really comfortable album. The ambience is really nice on this thing and I think the album flows really well. The atmosphere here is consistent throughout and it's nice to here a shorter record from C418 as it feels a little more whole as a project. While there are moments the music could be a lot more interesting, I still really enjoyed it. My favorite tracks are Work Life Imbalance, Smooth Fail and Keighley

"Dief" by C418 has already made its way to having a special place in my heart, not only because of its immaculately striking and beautiful cover, but because it marks my first digital purchase for an album. The music is truly something different though. When you say "ambience", you immediately think of ethereal landscapes and music that is constant and has you floating, however, Daniel crafts a blend of ... read more
Pretty good. This album got me through studying for my last final and taking my last final since I listened to it during my final. I dont have a nostalgic feel to any of the Minecraft music so there's that. However Match Cut definitely makes me feel something nostalgic listening to it. It's a song that definitely makes me reminisce. I walk across campus listening to that song and just fully realize that hey, the semester is at It's end. And that offers a feeling I can't ... read more
