Taking Back My Soul begins with a nice groovy riff, easy to get into and a little bit outside their normal riff display until it picks up in speed, solid track with great guitar work as usual. I like the solo.
Nemesis is one or their hits and its absolutely a great song, great pacing and solid riffs with a good chorus. Great song and still the highlight of the project for me. My Apocalypse is pretty cool in the slower section, adds a nice dynamic. The drums sound excellent here.

This kinda played out how majority of melodeath plays out for me. Nothing that is outright terrible or even bad, and a few really good tunes, but overall it kinda just ends up being meh-just okay for me. Nothing bad at all, just not really the style of death metal that I prefer. However, I absolutely love that this band is female fronted and giving more recognition to women in metal.
Os mestres suecos delinearam um disco brutal por sua própria natureza. Angela canta como se sua voz viesse do abismo mais profundo das entranhas do inferno. Talvez seja o mais violento da banda!

Arrivati al terzo capitolo con Angela Gossow, gli Arch Enemy continuano a mantenere coerenza e qualita mentendosi sempre su ottimi livelli anche con questo nuovo lavoro.

Parto subito dicendo che seppur Doomsday Machine non sia per forza il piu bel album della resta decisamente il piu iconico, a partire dalla copertina che ai tempi girava su tutte le riviste metal, fino a canzoni leggendarie che gli Arch Enemy ancora oggi performano live. Per ... read more
