Not revolutionary but very enjoyable and energetic with a tight , punchy sound. A strange assortment of super talented musicians that work really well together and obviously enjoy their creative process, as is obvious by the end product. Never before and never again seen levels of angst in this thing's lyrics. Maybe the most musically competent group in the nu metal scene with the majority of these songs doing front flips over the genre's standards with refreshing attention to detail in bass and drumming. Bumpy ride in the second half of the tracklist with some songs seriously dropping the ball and halting the momentum but the highlights have seriously stuck with me. Fun.

Extremely aggressive and straight forward in every aspect, including vocals, percussion and riffage. Perfectly thick and loud mix. My biggest complaint is that songs sometimes tend to blend together considering the sound pallete is fairly limited, in a way this helps sell the authenticity of the hardcore sound but i find the album's memorability suffers for this reason. Way too much rage slop sprinkled throughout. Izzo wholeheartedly believed MUSIC was his album and not carti's, someone should have stepped up and taken away his fucking soundboard. Carti's vocal capabilities continue to baffle me, yet not enough to keep me engaged for 30 songs. Stop stream-farming and focus on fathering your child.
