Sorry but it's just completely not my style of music. This song is a perfectly even mix of metal and radio-polished pop... unfortunately it just sounds generic and a bit sloppy especially in the hook.

I had feeling that Beartooth was heading towards a creative bankruptcy since The Surface. The feeling grew stronger when it was announced that they were working with Jordan Fish on their new music (Fav prod. of artists who have hit a wall). Unfortunately their newest single Free, confirmed it.

Beartooth never made unique genre breaking stuff, but they mostly did generic metalcore right. Their hooks were almost always a hit, catchy and punchy even if the instrumentals disappointed.
