AllMusic
There's a reason each of the group's previous albums bested the million mark, and with metal growing increasingly self-aware and divided between hardcore and hard rock, a new Disturbed record seems like a solid foundation on which to duke it out.

Consequence of Sound

Disturbed is finally kicking a little more ass, again – even if it is in popular fashion ... they are right where they belong.

PopMatters

In failing to take up the sword as they should ... they wind up sounding a little lost on Indestructible, stabbing their weapons without any reasons behind each parry, setting up vague agendas they cannot follow through on. Despite this, it’s still a reliably solid, passable hard-rock soundtrack for 2008.

Rolling Stone

Much of Indestructible banks on the same old angst-mongering that has fueled a zillion rock-radio hits in the past 10 years.

Look it's just another fucking disturbed album. Everything I've said in my previous reviews of their albums applies here, except this doesn't have any half-decent songs like Stricken to elevate it, it's just fucking boring throughout. Everything sounds the same, the riffs are stale, the vocals are questionable, completely skippable in every way.

I can't understand the hate for this band when this guys released this album with a lot Metal anthems.

This was one of the albums that got me into heavy metal back in middle school. The title track rips and tears, "Inside the Fire" goes hard as hell, and the rest strike like a flaming wrecking ball. Who gives a shit about what anyone says, "Indestructible" rips any of Skillet, Fall Out Boy, and Imagine Dragons' transparent overproduced anthems in half. Oh sorry about that, I'm just that nostalgia biased.

this album was huge when it came out when i was 13 and is probably still a decent album but i refuse to support this band anymore
