Sighhh I was certainly hoping for something a little more flavourful with this new era, DCC was fun in the sense that it was different for the band, and despite being a weaker sound it was still very enjoyable. This new album seems to be returning to the heavier rock, which is great and all, but I’d welcome it more if it wasn’t so run of the mill, especially being the lead single. Love these boys, but I do find this to be a bit standard in a way that's slightly off-putting. I think it's mostly in the mix and production, everything is EXTREMELY clean and polished to the point where there's not a lot of character in any of the instruments. There's definitely a great energy to the track, but I'm not sure if the production is highlighting the things it should be, especially if they want to be leaning heavier into a rock sound than a pop ... read more

Absolutely adore this band. Conor Mason is one of the greatest talents of this generation and I’ll stand by that. Hoping for a return to some Broken Machine era rock with this next cycle. Fun single
I was disappointed by this. After DCC's really colourful and fun atmosphere I was hoping they would release something a little bit more flavourful. This just sounds like an outtake from their first album. Connor's voice sounds great, but its not enough to win me over. Overall,, meh.
