Kurious, emcee of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent will spit some occasional more personal bars and life stories that are great. He excels when he talks about his heritage and life, which he does a lot; but, the abundance of bad hooks and tracks too typical of the 90's that feel too derivative. He needed better creative direction on this because the production isn't bad at all.
Let's compare and contrast two MCs for a moment. We'll call them MC1 and MC2 for this review's sake. The beginnings of their careers could not have been more similar:
1.) They both burst on the scene for the first time in 1991.
2.) The first time they were heard on wax was being featured on a posse cut for another hip-hop act.
