last sparta album of the proper 'my fathercore' era, i'm not sure if he has listened to the newest one but i doubt it'll scratch the itch he has for jim ward's music in the same way these early-mid 2000s releases did. This album, and especially jim's singing style, are very much bono influenced, even more than is to be expected. my dad does enjoy 80s u2 a lot so i don't suspect that's a particular negative for him. Less heavy than previous releases but more well constructed throughout. I love this album more than their first two. I enjoy the stronger indie and alternative rock on this record more than the last one as they seem to mature their sound within that style here. Unfortunately, this would end up being their last album during this era of their band.
