This is a very straightforward and enjoyable 24 min house-music fundamental type EP, where the focus is to create club bangers and head bobbers all the way throughout - in the simplest way possible. I'm very surprised to see the negative reviews that this EP is receiving. I think that house music as a genre is very polarizing because if you don't like house, it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that all house music is the same. Arguably an easier listen compared to their LP released this year, but still aims below to desirable threshold. However, it’s still a stronger project than the said LP. It may very well begin a trend of albums I care about from them.
Great new try! I think these songs which differ from previous style are really nice try, but it's a pity that they didn't thoroughly continue their new try in their new realease the same year.
I initially didn’t like Ecstasy a whole lot but it’s brown on me. The production is super original and though it’s not as smooth as their typical stuff, it’s a jinglier style that is more bouncy and original. Not near as innovative as the work shown on Energy though.
