Malneezy is slowly but surely becoming his own. I wouldn't say Bipolar does anything wholly original, but what it does do it does well. The production in particular really has me impressed, with it sounding so rich and at times really beautiful. The album as a whole is really likeable, though there are still a few snoozers scattered throughout. A genuine improvement on a massive level! Hell yes that's what I like to see! A genuinely well textured, well thought out electronic/ambient project.

I'm not putting it lightly when I say a lot of Malneezy's older music...just plained sucked. That's the best way to put, I do not enjoy it at ALL. A pretty decent future garage sounding user-submitted LP (if I had to compare Bipolar to anything non user-submitted, I'd probably say early James Blake work but more ambient? idk). I admittedly wasn't too impressed by the first third of the album as it sort of seemed to drag, albeit the production and mixing were good, I just wasn't too engaged by it most of the time.
