It’s albums like this, that serve as a reminder for me to keep listening to more obscure stuff, because there’s so much amazing music out there to discover.

Also I for the longest time I thought the album cover said “eagles”.

Alright yep, this is their best album by a mile. The tracks are catchy, the songwriting is top notch, it's strange and goofy but very fun and overall just a wonderful listen. It's absolutely not a masterpiece or something that reaches the same levels of what The Beatles made after 1965 for example, but it's clear proof that even Sweden were able to cook up some bangers in the 60s!

A Swedish Ogden's nut gone flake, nice instrumentation throughout,splashes of strings,harpsichords,pianos,bells. A lot of the tracks fall into the nice category rather than the must listen again but a few are keepers-'i left my shoes at home','seeing with love','what's the time','there's a blind man ..','to be free','halcyon days'.
