The Needle Drop
On Comadre's new, self-titled album, the California screamo outfit releases one of the catchier albums I've heard in the genre for a long time.

interesting listen!! when i heard it, i was expecting more screamo, not an indie / post-hardcore jam with screaming vocals. honestly though it was pretty fun! definitely a good taste of something else

Vibrant and visceral post-hardcore and screamo with a heart on the lead vocalist’s sleeve, and a versatile arrangement of orchestrations from 80s hard rock to brass symphonics to blues rock, it’s really impressive. Probably wouldn’t have liked this a couple years ago but now I reeeeally dig this shit.

Screamo blended with indie rock and post hardcore - a really fresh take on the sound and a very fun listen. Consistently good tracks without nailing down a consistent sound from track to track.
