The Needle Drop
An amazing album from Arizona’s Vektor.

This is some of the most kickass Thrash metal that I've ever heard. It does so much shit, and it never feels out of place at all. It's like taking Metallica / Megadeth / Slayer and combining it with Gojira or TOOL and it sounds fucking incredible. So here is @Elena5's amazing rec, Black Future by Vektor, an absolute killer of a thrash album, and for the first time im checkin one of her recs! This is some of the best guitar work I've heard from start to finish its amazing with some of the best and creative riffs also, the song structures were also very good and also the drumming was very good but my main problem is the vocals it kind of ruined the album for me, they just annoyed the hell out of me so much they just sounded ear piercingly annoying like a banshee basically. But if you remove ... read more

This album fucking rocks, barely a moment is wasted in the 68 minute runtime, and its just pure fun, headbanging riffs, fantastic Black Metal, and Death Metal-ish vocals, and experimentation that keeps it fresh. This also feels very inspired by the band "Death" in many ways, from some of the riffs, solos, and vocals, ... read more
