This album does everything right when it comes to Melodeath, It features great instrumentals, dynamic melodies, and fantastic vocals. The instrumentals go from blazing finger picked melodies layering the verses, to huge, atmospheric, more Bass heavy riffing, and acoustic passages throughout to build atmosphere. A very angry and solid Thrash album...
I'll start by saying this album isn't gonna change how you view thrash, nor is it revolutionary at all. That being said, i think it's a very solid Thrash adventure, filled with lots of solid instrumentation, and especially great solos, like on "Lobotomy" and "Primitive Future", both of which have some pretty good riffing and great solos. Bladee returns with a confident display of his skillset, which grows more with each album. He experiments with many new sounds and vocal styles, and nails almost all of it, which goes to tell how amazing of an artist he is. He has a bottomless reservoir of creativity and this album displays that better than most. I just wish Ecco and Thaiboy could have been on here, it would've been amazing to hear them on this incredible production, but i understand why bladee made that choice, as this ... read more
