Project X suggests Ken has some way to go before he can blow Carti’s direct imitators out of the water. But having direct access to OPIUM’s stable of producers means Ken’s beats sound better than any of his boss’s imitators and helps underscore the versatility of OPIUM’s sound.
Project X is Ken Carson's debut album and his first album on Opium label is pretty poor.
I just realized how annoying Ken Carson is with his reactive flow and boring production choices.
There is nothing that gives me as much fun as his "worst" album X.
I still have a tone of vibe with this record but I hope this album can be executed in a better way.

I was never a huge fan of this, honestly just a boring listen in my opinion! Lots of tracks tend to sound the same and as a newer fan of Ken's music, it's still not what I look for in his music. A Great Chaos and More Chaos are records that suit him much better and offer way more spectacular moments. Well, it was a different time when this came out, but I think y'all get my take. It's more or less, not the Ken Carson I exactly fell in love with music-wise.
