Balance tries to open up the Van Hagar formula somewhat.
That album cover is fricking bizarre.
It's kinda good but a little stale cuz it starts sounding the same on occasion. "Strung Out" is ridiculously dumb.

The washed out guitars and drums alongside not that strongest writing make this the first Sammy Hagar era Van Halen album that goes below that previously untold acceptable line and enters the realm of mediocrity. Also the last Sammy Hagar era Van Halen album, which goes to show that I'm getting pretty close to wrapping up the whole discography of this band.
