Think something along the lines of John Mayer collaborating with the Postal Service, and you'll get a nice sense of the '80s adult-contemporary pop and indie electronic vibes Surfaces conjure on Pacifico.

Unless they change their artistic direction, Surfaces will continue to underwhelm, disappoint, and be drab.
2017's Surf was the world's introduction to the band, with a lo-fi production style that suited both vocalists, Forrest Frank and Alexa Padalecki. The latter left the band shortly after the album's release, leaving her brother Colin and Forrest to continue the band as a duo.
