Journey's fourteenth album is again, unremarkable. A move away from ballads doesn't really do them any favours, as while a focus on their hard rock style is fine, and does produce some good tracks, overall it's still largely an over-done, and quite boring sound now. No song really stands out above the rest, and nothing here will pull you back, except maybe parts of 'Tantra' or 'Resonate', but as an album, I'll probably never listen to this again. I wouldn't even say this is a terrible album but the back-half of this record is so unbelievably boring it's insane.
