Moe Dee never managed to produce a discography to match his raw ability, or his significance as a pioneer. By '91 though, he had got pretty much left behind stylistically. Sonically and lyrically, there were much more compelling alternatives, and his whole style was already seeming somewhat dated. That said, it really isn't a bad listen, he's always been a decent enough MC. Very few tracks are outright poor, although the beats often do him few favours.
From a musical standpoint, this album was released at a time where the new movement of gangsta rap was taking it's place. New Jack swing was becoming a thing of the past. From a lyrical standpoint, I think this was Kool Moe Dee's worst album. Two songs that stood out here.
