This is probably one of the weirdest tracklists ever. A bizarre concoction of boring live performances, new material, and covers of folk music and sh*t, Rattle and Hum is certainly an album that sticks out like a sore thumb among U2’s discog.

How does this count as an important album in their discography? This is both a live album, a covers album and a studio album and I was mostly just confused. Track 8 to 11 are pretty good, and there are some other highlights sprinkled throughout. But this is not a necessary record for the full U2 experience.
