Alright, I know this is gonna make some people really mad at me, but I'm just gonna say it: Andy Cizek is the weakest point of this album. His vocals are talented, yes, but they contrast with the guitar tones and instrumentation of this album. His cleans, especially, do not fit with this music at all and it feels like the rest of the band has been reduced so that they can accompany Andy. Ive had pretty good time with this album and i think for what its trying to achieve its pretty good overall even tho its nothing really special
nice to see my old rating basically not change at all (94)
the vocals and riffs are a huge highlight. THE standout song for me is definitely the cimmerian. made me shed a fucking tear.
besides that, makeshift harmony's chorus is the other highlight.
